Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Auditeo mobile app, operated by SYNTRAI (France). By downloading, opening or subscribing to Auditeo, you agree to them. If you downloaded Auditeo from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it.
The service
Auditeo helps you carry out property inspections — snagging, condition reports, damage assessments and similar — by recording findings with photos, annotations and voice notes, and producing PDF and Word reports. Your data is stored on your device; there is no Auditeo account or web app.
Subscription, free trial and billing
Auditeo is offered as a monthly subscription at €4.99 per month (or the local price shown in the store), including AI Assist. New subscribers get a 30-day free trial with full access, including 60 minutes of voice transcription for the whole trial (see below); top-ups bought during the trial are charged when you buy them. Billing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under the account you subscribe with. The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
There is no free plan. Without an active subscription or trial you cannot create new audits or use AI Assist, but everything you already created stays available to view, edit, export and back up.
AI Assist and fair use
AI Assist transcribes voice notes and drafts findings and report sections. Each subscription includes up to 60 minutes of voice transcription per calendar month (during the free trial: 60 minutes for the whole trial), and AI drafting within reasonable limits for one inspector's normal professional use. Allowances reset at the start of each month and unused minutes don't carry over. When the allowance is reached, your voice notes are still saved: you can transcribe them after the monthly reset, buy a top-up, or type your findings yourself.
Top-ups. If you need more, you can buy 60 extra minutes of transcription for €0.99 (or the local price shown in the store) as a one-time in-app purchase. A top-up is paid through the Apple App Store or Google Play, does not renew, is used after your included monthly minutes, and is valid until the end of the calendar month in which you buy it (or, during the free trial, until the trial ends); minutes not used by then expire. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
AI Assist is for your own inspections. Automated or bulk use, sharing a subscription across several people, resale, or use that overloads the service may be limited.
Your responsibility for reports
AI output is a draft. It can be incomplete or wrong, and it must be checked before use — Auditeo asks you to review every finding before a report is finalised. You remain responsible for the content, accuracy and professional conclusions of the reports you issue. Auditeo is a recording and reporting tool; it does not provide surveying, engineering, legal or insurance advice.
GPS positions come from your phone and can be imprecise, particularly indoors. Auditeo labels approximate positions, but location data should not be relied on as a survey measurement.
Your content and data
The audits, photos, recordings and reports you create are yours. They are stored only on your device. Because there is no cloud copy, data can be lost if your phone is lost, damaged or reset, or if you uninstall the app. Use the Backup feature regularly and keep exported reports you need. You are responsible for having the right to photograph, record and share the information you capture, including personal data about third parties.
Acceptable use
Don't use Auditeo for unlawful purposes, to record people without the consent the law requires, or in a way that attempts to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer our services.
Disclaimers
Auditeo is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that the app or AI Assist will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SYNTRAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data stored on your device, or decisions made on the basis of reports or AI drafts. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Auditeo in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. You can stop using Auditeo at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
